First of all, welcome to the new website! What do you think?
I'm going with that facebook post and saying, February is my new, new year. January was a trial run and though it wasn't bad, I know I can do better at goal reaching.
One of my kind of goals this year was to basically advance myself in the blogosphere. I've been wanting to self-host for some time but the whole thing is very confusing (even for a millennial like me). And I'm kicking myself because I would've understood all of this a lot more had I continued on with graphic design, sigh.
Anywho, losing my computer has boosted me into looking more seriously at it because with my next laptop I want one that will serve my blogging purposes well. Which led to the thought process, what is my future for this blog? I enjoy it and so I obviously want to continue with it, but I didn't want to be as limited with the blog hoster I was using.
(Insert techy jargon-ed paragraphs explaining why I want to change sites).
Basically, I like how this blog has helped me pursue creativity more in both writing and projects. I want to see where this whole blog thing takes me. As I look more and more into the Internet, the possibilities (insert Chris Traiger voice) are quite literally, endless! I love that technology has made it so possible to try anything you want to try. And I want to try!
So bear with me as I learn my way around a new website and introduce my readers to it. I would like to keep the current content I have with this blog and will try to find a way to transfer that over.
Meanwhile, I want to provide content that you all are even interested in. Therefore, I wondered what it is that you would like to see more of on the blog. What kinds of posts do you enjoy? DIY? travel? Josh's funny stories (you know, that ONE post), monday's favorite things? I would LOVE to HEAR from you!
And thank you for all that do read these! It has been a fun outlet for me and it makes it that much more enjoyable to know others enjoy it as well!
